I think this is the first photo ref I've bothered to upload since I did those Rashomon inspired digital paintings years ago. Interestingly enough, I think that was one of the first times I ever did my tablet tapping forest rendering technique.

After I saw your video explaining shiny metallic surfaces and how they reflect off metal spheres in that mech thing, I'm looking at this armor with new eyes. It suddenly looks so simple and doable! Thanks a ton for the help!
